Initial Assessment & Punchlist Creation
Once I safely delivered the MGB home I was able to spend some weekend and evening time just getting to know the car. (haven't decided if it's he or she yet) This car is clearly a driver's car. While there are no significant mechanical issues I found a good many projects to dig into and I couldn't be happier. General clean-up and maintenance Even though the car had been stored and only occasionally driven there were a few things that required immediate attention. Lubrication, fluids, wheels, tires, suspension, brakes, smooth idle, and the like. After putting a few more miles on the odometer I was starting to get a sense of where I wanted to focus my time first. Brakes!
